Willis Towers Watson, a leading global advisory, broking, and solutions company, has taken an additional 34,000 square feet of space at 3001 Stamford Square.

Willis relocated its Norwalk, CT office to 3001 in May of 2014, occupying approximately 9,500 square feet of space in the building developed, owned and managed by Ashforth and located at 3001 Summer Street. Willis Towers Watson operates with 39,000 employees in more than 120 countries.

Willis Towers Watson is relocating its entire office with 190 employees at 263 Tresser Blvd to join the 3001 office. The expansion renovation is expected to be begin in early summer with a fall 2017 move in date.

Willis Towers Watson is part of a prominent roster of tenants at 3001 Stamford Square including Pitney Bowes, KPMG, Genworth, First County Bank, O’Connor Davies, and Navigators. 3001 is now 84 percent leased with 48,000 square feet available on one floor.

Ed Tonnessen, Managing Director of JLL, the exclusive leasing agent for 3001 Stamford Square represented Ashforth. Steve Baker of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant.

Ashforth completed a dramatic, multi-million dollar renovation of 3001 Stamford Square at the end of 2012. The property consists of 290,000 square feet of office space on seven floors with four levels of underground parking and features a modern lobby, full-service café, state-of-the-art fitness center and private shuttles to and from the Stamford train station.

Surrounded by blue-chip corporate neighbors, 3001 Stamford Square is ten minutes from I-95, the Merritt Parkway and the Stamford Train Station and within walking distance of Ridgeway Shopping Center, two hotels, banks and restaurants.
