Holiday Flower Sale
Ashforth once again partnered with Mrs. Bloom’s Flower Mobile to offer onsite flower sales at its owned properties in CT, in observance of Valentine’s and Mother’s Day. The Mobile featured a selection of roses, tulips, hydrangeas, peonies and many other flowers. 10% of every sale was donated to the Bennett Cancer Center at Stamford Hospital.
Mrs. Bloom’s is a Westchester-based importer and distributor of fresh flowers that also donates a portion of its proceeds to a variety of charities and organizations. Co-owned by brothers Ari and Oren Shapiro, the company sends flower trucks to various events and locations as part of its service called Mrs. Bloom’s Mobile.
Ice Cream Socials
As part of Ashforth’s client appreciation program, the company will host its annual Ice Cream Socials at many of its owned and managed properties through June, July, and August. A delicious selection of Gifford’s ice cream and frozen yogurt along with a variety of toppings are served. Live music is featured at several of the buildings. The socials are held in the building common areas such as lobbies and courtyards and run approximately 1.5 hours. CI Dining Services caters Ashforth’s ice cream socials and each year donates one additional ice cream social to a nonprofit of Ashforth’s choice. The Boys & Girls Club of Stamford has been a recipient for many years.
