During the pandemic, Ashforth held its annual flu shot clinics to promote its healthy workplace culture at two of its owned and managed properties, Greenwich Plaza and 707 Summer Street. A total of 60 flu shots were provided by CVS Pharmacy during the three hours of onsite clinics.
“With COVID still very active and dangerous, safety was our highest priority when coordinating these flu clinics for our tenants,” said Andrew Martinez, Ashforth’s Marketing Project Manager. “Strict protocols such as appropriate social distancing between patients, mandatory mask requirement, temperature checks, and a prescreening COVID-19 questionnaire were all enforced,” added Martinez.
More important than ever, The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) highly recommends getting your flu shot not only to reduce your risk from flu but also to help conserve potentially scarce health care resources.
