Nick Boyer, a staff accountant with Ashforth’s management services division since 2019, is a passionate volunteer dedicated to giving back to the community. He is always willing to participate in volunteer opportunities presented by the Company, and his dedication is evident in his leadership roles as team captain for Ashforth’s Hope in Motion and the Stamford Downtown Parade Spectacular teams.

In 2022, Nick graciously accepted the role as Ashforth’s team captain for the annual Stamford Downtown Parade Spectacular. He led a team of 24 employees, friends, and family in handling the Bob the Builder balloon during the parade. In 2023, Nick will be returning as the parade team captain, leading a team of 32 members handling a new Peppa Pig balloon.

Nick was also one of Ashforth’s Hope in Motion team captains this year. Alongside Alexa DiBuono of A.P. Construction and Sarah Waterbury and Andrew Martinez of The Ashforth Company, Nick helped raise $5,891 for the main Walk event, which supports free quality-of-life programs and services for patients at Stamford Health’s Bennett Cancer Center.

In addition to his leadership roles in these two signature company events, Nick also regularly participates in Ashforth’s 707 Summer Street building’s year-round collection drives benefiting local nonprofits. These drives include a food drive for The Foodbank of Lower Fairfield County, a Kids Helping Kids gift drive collecting new gifts for students in need to give holiday gifts to their families, and a coat and clothing drive benefiting Person-to-Person.

“Beyond working and volunteering, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and family, hitting balls at the tennis court, playing trading cards with my friends, attending Yankee games, and relaxing in my hot tub,” Nick shared.

The Ashforth Company encourages and supports volunteerism, and Nick is a shining example of the Company’s commitment to giving back to the community. The Company is proud to have Nick as a dedicated employee and volunteer.
