Mike Steadman has been with the Company since 2007 and demonstrates on a daily basis the Company’s core values and brings success wherever he goes. In addition to his stewardship of the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich project, which was extremely complicated and would have been derailed without his expertise and persistence. Beyond project leadership, Mike has become a valued mentor to our younger field staff, provided company-wide training sessions, and is an active member and contributor to our safety committee. Whatever projects he is involved with are successful and he always puts APC first.
NOMINEES
Sarah Brzoska of The Ashforth Company and Nick Boyer of Albert B. Ashforth, Inc. were recognized as nominees for the 2024 Albert B. Ashforth Employee of the Year Award for outstanding performance, service and commitment.
This nominee has been with the Company since 2022. In addition to handling her responsibilities with the Finance department, she also works with Joanna in the HR department. She was involved in the implementation of our new payroll/HR system, Paycom, and has taken on the role of processing payroll. She is a consummate team player, always ready to contribute, regardless of the task at hand. She also has a strong commitment to volunteerism. Her dedication to helping others is evident in her work and her active involvement in volunteer opportunities presented by the Company, including her leadership role as one of Ashforth’s Hope in Motion team captains, as a balloon handler for our Stamford Thanksgiving Parade team, a member of the Events Committee for the Ashforth Women’s group, a member of Impact Fairfield County, and participating in our community giving collection drives. We are pleased to nominate Sarah Brzoska for the 2024 Albert B. Ashforth Employee of the Year.
This nominee has been a member of ABA’s Management Services Team since 2019. He has worked extremely hard this past year, although he is never stressed out about taking on additional work and does it effortlessly and with a smile. With ABA acquiring two new assignments this year which included an additional 70 tenants, he did not hesitate to lend a helping hand entering information into our system. He took on 707 Summer Street’s financial reporting late last year and has done a great job taking ownership of it, including doing the budget on his own for 2025! He is always willing to help his co-workers in any capacity. He was a leader for Hope in Motion and has been the captain of the annual Stamford Thanksgiving Parade team these past few years. We are pleased to nominate Nick Boyer for the 2024 Albert B. Ashforth Employee of the Year.
