Ashforth hosted dresswear drives to support the Kids Helping Kids’ tenth annual Handled with Care Boutique. Tenants at Ashforth’s owned and managed properties, 707 Summer Street, 3001 Stamford Square, and Greenwich Plaza, donated a variety of new and gently worn dresswear items including special occasion dresses, suits, pants, shirts, and more. Several bags of clothing were collected.
Kids Helping Kids (KHK) partners with many local schools and businesses to collect donations for their spring event. Donations were sorted and placed on display at the KHK pop up boutique held at The Boys and Girls Club of Stamford. Over 200 guests attended the event to shop for special occasion dresses, received makeup and hair consultations, and enjoyed a free photo shoot.
KHK is an organization that empowers middle and high school students to take their passion for community service to the next level by designing and implementing service projects that benefit children in the community. By doing so, students build leadership and real-world life skills. For more information on Kids Helping Kids visit kidshelpingkidsct.org
