Ashforth purchased 707 Summer Street, a 3-story, 74,000 sf office building in downtown Stamford. In 2002, Ashforth completed a $2.5 million renovation to completely upgrade the building and relocated its headquarters there.

Ashforth continued its West Coast expansion with the purchase of The Orrick Building (pictured), a 504,000 sf landmark office building in San Francisco, CA. Sold in 2014. Ashforth also became Portland’s largest owner of Class A office space – 3 million square feet – with its purchase of Pacwest Center, a 30-story, 522,000 sf office tower.

Ashforth entered the multifamily housing investment market by teaming up with CBD, LLC a private investment firm based in NYC and New Canaan, CT, with a focus on the Boston/Washington corridor.

Ashforth was awarded the Stamford 2030 District’s Leadership in Sustainably Gold Level Award for the installation of a new-to-market bipolar ionization system to improve indoor air quality (IAQ) at Greenwich Plaza.

Ashforth committed a substantial, two-year corporate contribution pledge for the Greenwich Pool in Byram Park, a public-private partnership between the Junior League of Greenwich and the Town of Greenwich for a new outdoor community pool and revitalization of Byram Park, which were completed in spring of 2018.

After extensive research and testing, Ashforth installed state-of-the-art needlepoint bipolar ionization systems and upgraded filters to MERV 16 at all three of its owned buildings in Connecticut to help protect their tenants, employees, and visitors from COVID-19 and other viruses and pollutants.
