The Ashforth Company is making a significant stride in optimizing HVAC system efficiency across its portfolio with the launch of the AI decarbonization pilot at it’s Stamford CT property, 3001 Stamford Square. Leveraging Cortex, an advanced AI platform, to enhance the performance of HVAC systems.
Cortex’s AI technology provides actionable recommendations for energy usage, aiming to significantly reduce the carbon footprint of the building. This initiative is part of Ashforth’s broader commitment to environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR). In 2023, Ashforth set ambitious goals to implement and monitor AI decarbonization pilot programs, not only at 3001 Stamford Square with Cortex but also at Greenwich Plaza with Measurabl’s Asset Optimization service.
“Through Cortex at 3001 Stamford Square, and Measurbl at our other buildings, Ashforth is redefining efficiency and sustainability. The AI-driven metrics are a cornerstone in our quest for smarter, eco-friendlier buildings, reflecting our deep commitment to CSR and environmental innovation,” said David Marks, Senior Vice President & Director of Operations for Albert B. Ashforth, Inc.
The pilot program with Cortex represents a critical step in Ashforth’s strategy to enhance building operations, reduce energy consumption, and increase overall operational efficiency. By comparing the outcomes from Cortex and Measurabl, Ashforth aims to identify the most effective solutions for energy management and decarbonization.
This initiative underscores The Ashforth Company’s dedication to advancing its sustainability goals. Through comprehensive utility tracking and AI-driven analysis, Ashforth is at the forefront of integrating innovative technology to create smarter, more sustainable buildings.
