The Ashforth Company teamed up with the Childcare Learning Centers (CLC) of Stamford this past December at its 3001 Stamford Square property to host a seasonal singing celebration in the building lobby. Children ages 3-5 performed several holiday songs including “I’m the happiest little snowman I know” and “Jingle Bells”.

CLC CEO Marc Jaffe kicked off the event with a brief introduction while First County Bank President and COO Robert Granata read to the children. Hot chocolate and cookies were served during the reading.

CLC serves nearly 1,000 of Stamford’s children 0-4 representing nearly 80% of children 0-4 who would otherwise not have pre k option. Early childhood education reduces future social services costs from at risk behavior, remediation, early pregnancies, dropouts, homelessness and incarceration.
