Ashforth has proudly supported Kids Helping Kids (KHK) for several years, hosting various drives to benefit their annual events. Most recently, Ashforth organized a Dresswear Drive for the KHK Handled with Care Boutique. Tenants at Ashforth’s properties—707 Summer Street, 3001 Stamford Square, and Greenwich Plaza—generously donated a variety of new and gently worn dresswear items, including special occasion dresses, suits, pants, shirts, and more. This year, over 50 items were collected.

KHK partners with many local schools and businesses to collect donations for their spring event. Over 400 items of clothing donations were sorted out and placed on display at the KHK pop up boutique held at The Boys and Girls Club of Stamford, in which visitors took home up to two items of clothing for free. The event also featured makeup consultations with professional stylists and a photo shoot with professional photographers.

KHK is an organization that empowers middle and high school students to take their passion for community service to the next level by designing and implementing service projects that benefit children in the community. By doing so, students build leadership and real-world life skills. For more information on Kids Helping Kids visit kidshelpingkidsct.org
