Adir Greenfeld is Executive Vice President and General Counsel of The Ashforth Company.
He joined Ashforth in 2017 and is actively involved in all real estate investments as well as new company initiatives. He is also responsible for overseeing all legal activities of the Company and its subsidiaries.
Prior to joining Ashforth, Adir was Deputy General Counsel at Fir Tree Partners, a multi-billion dollar private investment firm that invests worldwide in public and private companies, real estate and sovereign debt and on behalf of leading endowments, foundations, pension funds and sovereign wealth funds. At Fir Tree, he was responsible for structuring and negotiating all private real estate investments, overseeing all legal activities relating to Fir Tree’s private real estate investments and assisting with various other legal activities for the firm. Prior to joining Fir Tree, Adir was an Associate in the real estate practice of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP where he represented real estate investment managers, REITs, developers, lenders and other public and private real estate companies in a broad range of complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, financings, restructurings, recapitalizations, leases and development projects.
Adir founded the HS for Law and Public Service Mentorship Program and is a member of the Yeshiva University Real Estate Executive Circle and the University of Michigan Real Estate Group.
Adir received his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School and his B.A. in Economics, summa cum laude, from Yeshiva University.
