Andrew B. Ashforth

Andy Ashforth is Chief Executive Officer and President of A.P. Construction Company. He is responsible for the overall operation, including long-term goals and direction. Andy has worked with an extensive number of Connecticut and New York businesses, including Fortune 500 companies. Since becoming the head of A.P. Construction in 1990, the Company’s annual revenues have grown from $10 million a year to over $140 million per year, and the Company has performed over $570 million in school and education projects, over $150 million in the healthcare industry, over $670 million in corporate interiors, and $360 million in multifamily projects.

He is also a member of the Company’s Investment Committee.

A longtime resident of New Canaan, Andy is a member of the World Presidents’ Organization and a past board member of the Round Hill Club and Future 5 organization. He is past-President of the New Canaan Sports Council and New Canaan Day Care Center, past-Vice President of New Canaan Youth Soccer, and spent ten years as Assistant Coach of the New Canaan High School Men’s Hockey Team.

Andy graduated from Deerfield Academy and received his B.A. from the University of Vermont with a major in English and a minor in 3D Design.
