As part of Ashforth’s ongoing wellness initiative, employees recently gathered at Mill River Park for a lunchtime Restorative Yoga session focused on relaxation, mindfulness, and overall well-being.
Ten employees participated in the outdoor class on the lawn, taking time away from their desks to enjoy a peaceful hour of gentle stretching and guided relaxation. Designed to promote mental clarity and stress reduction, the session encouraged participants to slow down, recharge, and focus on self-care in a scenic setting.
Following the class, employees enjoyed lunch together and had the opportunity to connect with colleagues outside of the office. First-time attendees also received an Ashforth yoga mat and water bottle to support their continued wellness journey.
“Creating opportunities for employees to prioritize their well-being is an important part of our culture,” said Joanna Cucolo, Director of Human Resources and Administration. “It was great to see everyone taking advantage of this opportunity to relax, recharge, and spend time together outdoors.”
The Restorative Yoga session is one of many wellness-focused programs offered through Ashforth’s employee wellness initiative. By providing opportunities that support physical and mental well-being, Ashforth continues to encourage healthy habits and work-life balance across the organization.
