Every holiday season, Ashforth’s tenants come together through our annual Donation Days program, donating to local Fairfield County nonprofits at three of our owned and managed Connecticut properties: 707 Summer Street, 3001 Stamford Square, and Greenwich Plaza.
This year’s Donation Days featured two on-site collection drives benefiting the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County (LFC) and Person to Person (P2P):
- Food Drive – Tenants generously donated over 450 pounds of food, including hearty soups, pasta, sauces, peanut butter, canned proteins, cereals, and other non-perishable items. These contributions help the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County distribute nutritious food to nearly 90 nonprofits serving individuals and families facing food insecurity throughout the region.
- Coat Drive – More than 50 new and gently used coats were collected and donated to Person to Person. P2P’s mission is to provide individuals and families with assistance for basic needs and access to resources that improve their lives. P2P programs support communities across lower Fairfield County, including Darien, New Canaan, Norwalk, Stamford, Weston, Westport, and Wilton.
Ashforth is deeply grateful for the generosity of our tenants during the Donation Days program. Together, these efforts make a meaningful difference in the lives of many people in need during the holiday season.
