Kids Helping Kids Honors Karyn Ward with the 2025 Heart of Gold Award

Karyn Ward, Senior Executive Assistant at The Ashforth Company, has received the notable 2025 Kids Helping Kids (KHK) Heart of Gold Award. She was recognized at the KHK Spring Celebration in May.

The Heart of Gold Award is presented to an individual who goes above and beyond in their dedication to the mission of Kids Helping Kids. This special honor recognizes someone who consistently steps up with initiative and a giving spirit—volunteering their time, donating supplies with a smile, and thoughtfully solving problems with care and purpose.

“This year, we are proud to present the Heart of Gold Award to Karyn Ward, whose unwavering commitment and altruism have made a lasting impact on our organization. Karyn truly exemplifies what it means to have a heart of gold, and we are deeply grateful for the many ways she shares her time, energy, and generosity with the Kids Helping Kids community,” said Jennifer Bentley, Executive Director of Kids Helping Kids.

“It’s incredibly humbling to be recognized with this award,” said Karyn Ward. “Giving back has always been important to me, and I’m grateful to be part of organizations that value service and community. Supporting Kids Helping Kids and seeing the impact we can make together is truly rewarding.”

Giving back is a core value at The Ashforth Company. Through corporate citizenship, civic involvement, and employee volunteerism, Ashforth is committed to strengthening the communities where we live and work.
