A.P. Construction’s Project Manager, David Sansone Jr., has a strong commitment to volunteering. A life-long resident of Stamford, CT, he gives back to his community in many ways.

For the past 11 years, David has been a volunteer Stamford firefighter. He is Firefighter Level 2 (FFII) certified in the state of CT and is currently servicing the Belltown area. During his time with the Stamford fire department, David has also serviced Darien and Noroton Heights as lieutenant.

Amazingly, while volunteering his time as a firefighter, David volunteers as an emergency medical service (EMS) worker with the Stamford EMS Academy. In recent years he has also been involved with the Special Olympics of Connecticut where he helps out coordinating their events.

When asked “why do you volunteer?” David simply replied, “Stamford has given me so much. It’s only right that I give back to the community when I can.”

David is also involved with Ashforth’s company volunteer activities. This year he is returning as the team’s co-captain for Stamford Hospital’s 20th annual Bennett Cancer Center – Hope in Motion Walk & Run, Connecticut’s largest participatory charity event. Ashforth is the founding and presenting sponsor.

The Ashforth Company continually encourages and supports volunteerism and is proud of its dedicated employees, like David, who volunteer their time and work hard to help build stronger communities.
