Ashforth’s investment objective is to achieve superior risk-adjusted returns through the acquisition, joint venture, or development of office and multifamily properties in fundamentally strong markets. Since 1896, Ashforth has invested or operated in the Boston/Washington DC Corridor and the Pacific Northwest.
In addition, since 1954 Ashforth has been a principal owner of Unico Properties, a real estate investment firm and full-service operator, focused primarily on office assets in the northwestern United States. In conjunction with Unico, Ashforth is currently invested in properties located in Seattle, Tacoma, Portland, Denver, Boulder, Salt Lake City, and Austin.
Ashforth is also a multifamily housing investor with a focus on the Boston/Washington DC Corridor market. Our company, along with several other private investors, has teamed up with BedRock Real Estate Partners, LLC, a private investment firm based in NYC, with significant experience in the development of multifamily housing. As an equity partner, over the past several years, Ashforth and the BedRock group of investors have invested in numerous development projects totaling more than 1,000 units in over one million square feet. The group continues to pursue additional multifamily investment opportunities in their targeted investment area.
Working with Ashforth’s investment team, our investors and partners receive considerable investment support including sourcing and underwriting, due diligence, financing, closing, asset and property management, strategic planning, legal oversight, and financial analysis. Our investment management team is backed by the diverse and extensive resources of the entire Ashforth organization.
Ashforth is experienced with developing projects with partners. We oversee the financing, design, construction and marketing of proposed developments.
Ashforth maximizes value and return by developing and implementing comprehensive asset management plans established to meet specific investment objectives, along with providing long-term investment strategies.
